Thanksgiving at Big Cedar Lodge

We spent Thanksgiving this year at Big Cedar Lodge with my parents and my brother’s family. We had a great time! We ate Thanksgiving dinner there at Big Cedar, went to Silver Dollar City, rode the Polar Express, spent time at Branson Landing, and saw the Titanic Museum. I think Emma’s favorite part was swimming at Big Cedar and Christopher’s was playing at their Lincoln Log Table. On the drive home we hit the Precious Moments Chapel.

All in all we had a great time. However, we did decide that 4 days and 3 nights was too long to keep the kids out of their normal sleep cycle! Need to limit it to 2 nights or enforce the standard nap times (at least for the little guy!). Our Destin trip next summer, which is going to be even longer, should be real interesting!

Fall Break 2011

Yesterday we spent the day at the Wild Wilderness Safari in Gentry, AR. We had a blast!

Emma’s first day of Kindergarten

Well, we had a last minute schooling change last Wednesday, so Emma started Kindergarten at Legacy on Thursday. She had a great day! She loves her new teacher and class. My little girl is growing up so fast.

So, June 3rd is kind of a big deal in our family.

Jenny and I were married on June 3, 2000 in Claremore, OK.

We always said that we would wait 5 years before we had kids.

Exactly 5 years later, on June 3rd, 2005, Emma Grace was born.

And, 5 years after that, on June 3, 2010, my little girl will turn 5 and Jenny and I will celebrate our 10th anniversary.
